Already learned a few things the super long intro missed. What mods are you trying to install? If using the Vortex manager it sucks and hasn't made any mods work for me. Go into the steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance2\Mods folder and delete everything inside it. Then take the mod you downloaded, unzip it, place the mod folder such as mcw_ptf_inf into the mod folder itself. This should enable the mod. Because of the way these mods work and Cryengine itself, some mods will not work together because they edit the same ini file. Be sure to read the mods instructions and comment section to see if its conflicting with anything. If you still have issues let me know what mod it is. |

I finally got one of the mods to work, instant herb picking II. That was the one I wanted most at the moment. Probably try and get one of the save anywhere mods to work next or the bright arrow fletching now that I found a bow. Vortex loaded mods kept crashing the game and manual installed ones just never worked until Herbs II. |

There is a great story you can follow, or you can wander off, kill random bad guys, play dice at taverns in the evenings, etc for endless hours. The survival mode is not having a compass or map marker, and having to pick two significant debuffs such as tapeworms, migraines, sleepwalking, claustrophobia, etc (or you can go for the big Steam achievement and pick ALL the debuffs for a real challenge). It's a very different way to play vs most games guiding you directly to the objective. Kharn Guessing this is pc only. |

It causes issues with cutscenes and scenes where your character is talking to others. Originally Posted By AJ-IN-JAX: There's a survival mode? How do I turn that on? Guessing this is pc only. I have tens of thousands of Groschens worth of arms and armor, but can only sell it off in bits as the merchants are too poor. That really needs to be changed in a patch. I iced one of Sigismunds camps with just a dagger. About 20 dudes. I have enough crap to outfit my own war band. In KCD1 The more you sell to a merchant, the more they had as time went buy because they sold it, but not this one. |

| Ok I’m in now, to whoever posted the starting guide video…it was tremendous help. I’m still struggling with dudes and shields but I’m starting to crank this game out. Just got drunk with the Cumans….trying to sleep it off lol. This game is really immersive but I’m poor….constantly poor. |

I partied with them, but had the idea to go around with a Dagger or poison their food pot. I didn't want to piss off the whole Nomad camp as I needed access to their wares. If you want to take out a small bandit camp of just a couple of guys. Wait about 30-40 yards away and wait them out to go to sleep, If you wait to close they will find you. (Time dial wait to get to night time) Build up Stealth. When using the Dagger, unlike the first game, A little weapon clash Icon appears, when it does, hit the attack (RT) button again to sink it home. If they are asleep, you don't have to worry except waking up any nearby bandits. If you have Mutt with you, you can train him to bark on command and draw them away to sneak into their camp and poison their food pot. If sleep/lullaby helps with this to go back in for stealth kills. If you don't have Mutt, you can shoot an arrow from a ways off and they will go to investigate where it came from. In the first KCD I use to get on top of wagons, stone heights, wood piles and sometimes roofs to cheese enemies with arrows. They put a stop to that in KCD 2. I've only found a couple of carts/wagons I could do that upon, but their melee attacks can still hit you. Bummer. |

So if you wiped them out, you missed one hell of a ride. Long night of drinking, a quest to find more alcohol, a talking dog at some point, and some clarity to Henry’s parents being killed. Plus the Leader will train you in skills |

Plus the Leader will train you in skills I didn't kill them because they were why the Villagers didn't attack the Nomads. I might try it on another play through, but only after the party when they are all passed out drunk. Henry would have his reasons to hate Cumans for what they did to Skalitz, his parents, plus continued pillaging afterwards which includes Rape. I understand his anger towards them. Cumans overall though were not a bad people and many later converted to Christendom. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cumans |
| I've only got a few hours in. The lady that saves you and your friend early on calls me a murderer and runs away every time I walk up to her despite not killing any civilians. Apparently it's a bug. I just have to sneak up behind her and initiate a conversation and she talks to me like nothing is wrong and gives me side quest stuff. As soon as I exit the conversation and she sees me she screams murderer and runs away lol. It's really annoying and funny at the same time. |
| There was a town where I evidently killed an innocent wayfarer by accident, although I don’t remember it. It caused everyone to run around calling me a murderer and I couldn’t sleep in my own bed or finish a quest there. Went away ,gave it some time, still happening. A couple of angry townspeople attacked me, fed up, I quickly dispatched them and threw the bodies off the cliff. Came back to the town later….all good. Like it never happened lmao. |
| I installed the unlimited save mod from nexus mods. That makes this game 1000% more playable for me. I dont have enough free time to play a game o need to make potions to save. Ill only play this a few hours a week. Now I just press f5 and it saves as many times as I want. |
Ran through Trosky castle and killed everything for the hell of it (saved beforehand). Except one horse that was impervious to damage for some reason. ![]() ![]() Monty Python and the Holy Grail - The Endless Rush Sir Lancelot to Attack the Castle Becoming too OP, LOL Just running into bandit camps and taking them all out without stealth. Also committed crimes to get caught and executed to see the outcome video where they brand you, and then later hang you. Saved before hand of course. I murdered the Bailiff multiple times and he still attends your execution. |

The one black dude is a sawbones working to tend the wounded in Sigismund war camp in the later half of the game. Had no real reason to speak to him. You can fight tournaments in the camp which help to build up fighting experience. Archery as well. For those reason, I didn't kill anyone there.......yet. Haven't seen anything gay or had anything gay forced upon me. |

They got shit on relentlessly for under representation of the first one after saying they were making the game era accurate. Now they're getting the other side. Can't just let people make entertainment anymore. |

The game is good, no doubt, but you cannot, absolutely cannot, deny that they went woke. Plenty of it in the game. It's sad. And not sad for them, sad for us. |

Now they're getting the other side. Can't just let people make entertainment anymore. You should not pity them for inserting woke shit into the game. That was a choice, it was a terrible choice. In spite of that idiocy, the game storyline and mechanics are top notch, and they have had something like 2 million sold. I'm a little concerned that this will send the wrong signal to warhorse and other developers to keep pushing woke into games. Will need to seriously consider if I buy more products from them, and obvious lesson here- do not pre-order games |

I'm about 65 hours in. The first 30 were painful, never played the first one so wasn't exactly sure what I was getting into. But since actually learning and understanding the mechanics it's become quite enjoyable. All I can think of is that I wish Warlord and TaleWorlds would join forces and combine KCD2 with Bannerlord 2 ![]() Question, but may be spoiler material so: Click To View Spoiler ETA figured it out Spoiler: Click To View Spoiler Lastly this is the first RPG I've played in a long time that the questing didn't immediately become boring. Even though many boil down to standard "go here go there come back" errands, the variety of characters and the possibility of chance encounters has kept my interest. One more question, maybe PS5 specific: on my home PS5 screen when I have the game highlighted, I see a progression percentage. I *think* this is reporting the main questline completion status but I don't know for sure. Anyone know? |

Find the gamekeeper's son and start shooting archery competitions. You can shoot as many as you like, and it's almost game-breaking because it doesn't take much practice to become a sure win in the beginner's group. Once you figure out your point of aim/point of impact, you net 30 groschen per match, while also padding skills at the same time. After gaining some marksmanship skills, you'll eventually be able to beat the experts every time, and they never run out of money. |

So I ended up chasing her through the woods and cutting her down like a horror movie killer

Well, I took the offered swig and immediately blacked out. Henry woke up and was like "i've been robbed!" but if he took anything I couldn't actually tell. I guess I really should stop consuming things offered to me by random vagrants sitting in the middle of medieval walking trails alone in the dark. |

I come home to see 45/56gb downloaded of the update thinking holy cow what can this possibly be? DLC expansion? Lol Barbers and appearance changes and apparently 1000 bug fixes. I don't know if it's the state of games today or if I'm just engrossed in the play through but I've only encountered a few relatively inconsequential bugs. 56gb! Also I've been playing this whole time not even realizing the Brunswick quest and the huntsman gear at the miller's was a reward for pre-ordering I thought I was stealing that stuff when I found it and only realized today when looking at the dlc menu options
