There's nothing at E3 really that stands out to me and blows my balls off. I am really excited for Arkham Knight, but it's been delayed until 2015. The Division looks sweet...oh yeah, it's been delayed until 2015. There's a small part of me that has an intense hatred and dislike of all things Crytek. The Evil Within looks good though. |

Coming out this fall. Looks FUCKING AWESOME. |

Im definately getting farcry 4 even if the villian looks like a tool. The evil within looks creepy as shit and if the graphics and brutality are even close to that scene in wolfenstein where the old lady gets her jaw split that game will most likely surpass silent hill in sheer shock value.
Im still looking forward to the h1z1 conference, hopefully they will announce early access. |

do you think rockstar will ever bring gta v to pc? Quoted:

GTA 5 PC, Alien Isolation and Arkham Knight are the only ones on my list so far. Yes they are all console ports, but if you've played the Arkham games on PC they are amazing. do you think rockstar will ever bring gta v to pc? They announced it the first day of E3. Sony had GTA5 PS4 in their presentation and soon after a trailer was released announcing it for XB1 / PS4 / PC in "Fall". I imagine it will be their November fourth quarter bombshell. Announcement |

H1Z1 still not announced there wqhole interview was just another cock tease ![]() I don't know about you, but personally I'm over the whole open-world zombie survival thing. In fact, I'm kinda over the zombie trope in general. Seems to be about as popular as WWII shooters were 8 years ago. Can't anybody think of something more interesting? I don't mind monsters like in, say, The Order, or Killing Floor, etc, but damn. Nah, it's still Far Cry 4 that has stolen the show for me. Game Opening + gameplay? HNNNNGH! Of course, it's another Ubisoft game that is cross-gen ( |
|
Yeah, zombies are really old hat.
Then again so is war with me. The last thing I want to buy is another goddamned military themed multiplayer shooter. I want something that tells an interesting / compelling story or something that makes me laugh. Or scared... there is a total lack of scary games that don't confuse "scary" with "needless gore and cheap jump stunts". All things that video games routinely fail to deliver. Which is why I think I've been spending so much time playing the Telltale games (Walking Dead and Wolf) and South Park. Heck, even the new Shadow Warrior game is pretty funny in spots. Cliche as anything and kind of boring from a game standpoint, but funny. Hell I even bought the Resident Evil 4 HD remake on PC only to find it's cripplingly shitty controls completely keep me from playing it. |
| Im in to survival games in general they usually always morph into some sort of deathmatch but they always have more to do then the linear plot of the modern fps "heres your gun kill that guy". Ill try each one until they come out with a minecraft in 3d with guns, vehicles and etc. |

More Mass Effect and Dragon Age! And Far Cry, my favorite animal cruelty simulator! I will be making a bunch of endangered animals extinct in FC4, if I can. I am disappointed in the Mass Effect stuff, actually. I'm a big ME guy, but it seems like if they didn't have enough to give us something substantial, why show it at all? All the basically said was "we are working on ME4" (which we already knew) and gave us a couple of pieces of concept footage. Not sure that sesered a spot in an E3 presser. Meh. |
|
They did the same thing with Battlefront. Hey! Remember that we're working on this? Yep! We're working on this still! Not done yet! Maybe next year! Working on it! Really hard, too!
And Mass Effect is one of my all time favorite bad relationships... it started so well, became something so special then ended so horribly that I never want to think about it again. Pretty much every major plotpoint in the series was resolved in 3. Plus Shepard is dead / not dead / indeterminate. And depending on how you ended the game the entire universe could be in a very different state than the guy next to you's game. So unless the "sequel" is actually a prequel, how are they going to sort out the universe the games take place in? |
They better not have the damn snakes and gators in farcry 4. It always freaked me the hell out when the a snakes jumped up and bit the shit out of me, I broke my first xbox controller the first time it happened. The alligators are a different story I was running from a group of thugs before I even knew how much the wildlife came into play in this game and I looked down into a stream thought to myslef wow this looks cool then bam a huge ass alligator pulls me into the water and starts the dead man roll.

Also, there were only three endings, red green or blue... All of your choices were meaningless... Anyway, I'm excited for the stuff that wasn't shown at E3 like the Homeworld 2 reboot!

And honestly that will kill the franchise for me. It's like trying to make a sequel to a choose your own adventure book... it means it completely invalidates the first book by giving it a generic ending. Then again a lot of people say the same thing about ME3, but the neopolitan ending actually had very drastically different immediate outcomes. I think the nature of the ending, that "a thousand years from then nobody could tell the difference" was kind of poignant. Then again to me Mass Effect is Sheppard, Garrus and Liara, jetting around, killing people, doing heroic deeds. Without Sheppard, ME4 feels like it is going to be the video game equivalent of Halloween 3: Season of the Witch. |
