Started to play this again after buying a new ps3.. now couple of issues... who should i help? brotherhood? ncr? mr house? also i am at level 30 and ever since last update my R2 button doesnt want to work.. anyone have the problem? i have tried 3 different controlers and even tried reassigning that button with no help... give me some tips ppl... also just bought the dlc's but havent played them yet... |

I generally help out the NCR. I'm a loyal NCR citizen all the way. NCR is fairly conservative, offers relative stability within their lands, etc. Mr House? Your basically siding with a man who simply wants a captive population who throws money at him. Basically he's just a greedy opportunist. I'd rather see New Vegas removed from his control, and the power falling into the hands of the NCR and individual casino owners. Caesar's legion is good if you condone slavery, abuse towards women, tyranny, and backwardsness. Basically they are just "more organized raiders". As for helping the Brotherhood of steel. Depends, really. ultimately if you help them, they become a valuable ally to the NCR. It's not like the other factions, where if you help them...it gets an opposite ending. The Brotherhood of Steel are one of a few factions, that if you help them, they help in the end with the NCR. |

Helping the BOS is not really a complete option, and the only way to really bring closure to the brotherhood story is to kill them or barter peace with NCR.
Wild card(Yes Man) or the Mr. House options are the way I like best. Helping the legion is wrong and not very rewarding. Helping the NCR is wrong as well. The developers seem to hint/push that helping governing factions, whether the Legion or NCR is flawed and wrong. Can't say I disagree. |

I usually wait till about Level 15 to kick off the legion slaughtering. I usually have power armor well before that, so even the strongest legionairies are fodder once you have power armor. |

I went full retard on the fiends after completing the quest where you read the diary about them eating people and burning kids in front of their parents. I was level 20, had power armor and Oh Baby!. I went to Vault 3 and left giblets all over the place. Nobody survived except the captives who were set free by me. Then I made a circle around Vault 3 and killed every fiend I could find. Sadly, they repopulate outside the Vault. I really wish you could completely eradicate some factions, like the fiends or Legion. Boone and I wiped out the Legion too. I stepped into Caeser's tent with the Avenger and backed myself into a corner. Boone went down, I had to reload the mini to finish off the last guy.

I used the automatic grenade launcher in the tent with Caesar. I just held the trigger and pressed the super stimpack hot button as quickly as fast as I could. Set a shitload of mines outside before going in and put a companion with a nasty weapon at the end of the trail past the tents on the right side. Step in with gauss rifle or AMR with with API ammo shoot caesar once and turn and run out the door and let them chase you through your pre-laid minefield. Nasty and fairly passive, mines will do most of the killing. If your companion kills Caesar they make some comment. |
| ended up doing all the quest, but my game is running right now in the mode of helping both the NCR and Brotherhood...running around in electrified enclave armor with a badass enclave helmet and named tesla cannon are the bee's knee's....you run into the NCR alot more than anything else and its just easier to deal with them if they dont hate you... |
