I just built a new gaming computer. I went overkill because eventually it will be retired from gaming and used for other purposes. Case: Phanteks Evolv X2 Power supply: Seasonic Prime TX-1600 1600W 80 Plus Titanium Motherboard: Asus ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO CPU: AMD 9950X3D GPU: Sapphire NITRO+ Radeon RX 9070 XT Cooler: Phanteks Glacier One 360 M25 G2 RAM: 32GB Gskill TridentZ DDR5-6400 CL32 Bad luck this time, only runs stable at 6200. Still fast though, so I'm not terribly upset. Case fans: 6 Phanteks M25-120 G2 3 in the bottom, blowing upward. these are reverse flow so the fans aren't upside down. 3 in the top cooling the radiator exhausting through the top. Storage: 1 Solidigm 1Tb NVME for the OS install, CachyOS Linux. 4 Western Digital Blue SA510 4 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive merged together with BTRFS for a solid pool of 16Tb for all my Steam games. |

(This was a $200 case over 20 years ago.) PSU: Rosewill 850W Full Modular MB: MSI B550 Gaming Plus CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X Cooler: Deep Cool AK620 GPU: PowerColor Reaper Radeon RX9060XT 16GB RAM: 64GB (4x16) T-Force DDR4 3200 SSDs: Samsung 990 2TB (System), Crucial P3 Plus 2TB (Data) Drives: Lite-On DVD-+RW/DL, Iomega 250MB Zip, 1.44MB Teac Floppy, Multi Flash Card Reader, 3.5" SATA Bay w/2.5" tray Doodads: 5.25" bay drawer to store flash drives, 8 port internal US2.0 hub for the front USB ports, Floppy Drive & Flash card reader Controllers: Wireless Xbox 360 & PXN V99 racing wheels, pedals, shifter on a GTPlayer stand. The last computer that was in this case was an AMD Athlon 64 with a geForce 8900.  |

Nothing fancy, just an old Optiplex SFF 7060 I5-8500, debating reflashing the bios and upgrading to i9 9900 32 gb ddr4 2666 2x 500 gb SATA ssd Radeon Pro W6400 graphics I put it together to run Solidworks but I guess when I downloaded Cold Fear it became a gaming computer. I’m going to grab Metal Gear Solid this weekend.
