Ok, i did brief search and found nothing posted about it here, i'm sure it was and i just didn't locate. Haven't had my PS3 online in a while since i mainly use for bluerays and as a linux box. Well i was given little big planet (AWESOME game btw), and wanted to DL some of the user created content, needed an update to get online. So i finish downloading 3.21 and get all this, you can't use "other os" anymore bullshit, started looking online and get a big'ole WTF?! I rarely game on my ps3, i play movies and run linux. So my question to you gaming forum, is there punitive action that can be/is being taken towards sony for this bullshit?

I remember the previous update had a big warning about how it specifically cut out the Other OS but this update might not have had such a warning. PS3 Linux people are pretty few and far between so I doubt anything will come of it. I was going to load it up before they cut off the Other OS functionality. Blame the hackers. |
