I will be going back to doing some part time work in the bar/night club scene and would like some recommendations for Kevlar or other gloves that have a degree of cut resistance. I also require the glove to be snug enough for weapon deployment (handgun) if necessary. I will not be involved in any physical searches so I am not concerned about needles, but knives may be a issue. Any recommendations or first hand experience would be great.
I have done this type of work in the past but more of the patrons are immigrants who tend to need additional encouragement to comply.

Thanks in advance.

Tag for info.

Also:
- is padding (and/or armor) in the knuckle area desired?
- are there any gloves that are decently cut resistant (besides the chain-mail butcher's gloves)?
