Good for you!  I'm 160, rep with 190 on bar.  Don't know max, I work out in my own home gym, hate to have a bar on my throat.  I'm assuming you mean freeweights.

Yes free weights. Lol wtf is a manlet?

A man that is 5'7 or smaller

I'm 5'9" thank you very much!

28 inch waste. 145+- pounds.

I'm not a big guy but people say I am pretty stout pound for pound.

Well then I am damn impressed with that bench. I was just making sure you weren't one of those 5'2 people who have to go down about 3 inches for a full rep

You should consider competing

Lol. My friend, he is like 5' or shorter probably, has a bunch of records from when he was in high school. He said he could probably get me benching 325 easy but thats not what I want. I am all natural and have stretch marks on both my shoulders, my left shoulder hurts sometimes and that worries me. I only max about once every six weeks and I am pretty steady around 285. I once got my weight up to 155 but during the summer I always loose weight from working on the farm, but only about 5 to 10 pounds in strength. But once school starts back up i hit the gym again and it all comes back.
I do chest shoulders back and traps MWF, with Friday being a fairly light day, just to work the soreness out
And Legs calves bi;s and tri's T TH.
I saw this in a mens fitness and really like it, alot.
Oh and I almost never do abs. I might run once every six months, but not for very long. I start huffing and puffing and almost pass out

I take NO xplode before workout and sometimes if I feel like it I will drink 3 scoops of Cyto Gainer after workout, but thats usually only once a week.
I know if i got dedicated and drank my protien like I should, like I did in h.s., I could probably get big fast.

The bars on the weekends don't help at all. after the weekend I feel small and shriveled. Alcohol sux when trying to maintain mass, for me anyways.

I am a naturally skinny guy, with a high metabolism thanks to my mom and dad. I wrestled in HS and know how to manage weight but my junior year I decided I liked eating so i started working out and eating everything I could. I don't eat alot in one sitting, but i eat little meals all day. Actually I am hungry right now, wish an all night sushi place existed.

Anyways I got carried away. Bravo if you read it all

I weigh 247lbs currently, I use 405 for sets of 3-5 reps. Don't really know current max, but I've entered a bench press comp so we will soon find out (raw lifts).

You?
Blew my shoulders.  Getting over arthroscopic surgery in my right shoulder, getting ramped up for the same thing in my left in the near future.

Doc and the therapists say my days of doing pushups, and military and bench presses are behind me.

I'll be happy being able to put on a T-shirt in under 2 minutes again.  Getting one off, OTOH, almost involves scissors.

Take care of those shoulders, dude.  You have no idea how much you can't do when they hurt.  Almost everything but flexing your knees/toes involves the shoulders.  Do all those stretching/warm-ups that you think can be skipped or cut short before/after your work out.

I hope you have a long/happy life of workout progression.

Sophomore year of college I weighed 215 and put up 315.  I doubt I could put up 275 now.

That said, I can run faster so meh.

I agree with the stretching and warmups. It helps me and gets the blood flowing. I am sore as fck today. I think I will try and max again monday, its been 3 weeks. I neeed to get serious about this.

I'm 510 and about 148-150, last time I maxxed was 225, gonna try and hit 250ish before December. I always focused more on endurance than strength, but since I stopped running temporarily it's been kinda cool how easily I've been progressing.

I want to bench double what I weigh. Almost there. I rep 225 one set of 8, one set of 7 and one set of 6 or 7. I keep all my weight high to where I can only get 6 to 8 reps. If I get 9, I add more weight.

The bench press the only thing that's important to you?

What about the other two big lifts/

I weigh 220 and bench 200 for two reps.

Squat 315 for two reps.

Deadlift 315 for two reps.

Just started lifting this past April.

I hope by this time next year my bench will be 250+ and squat/deadlift well be 405 while weighing at or under 200.

I was waiting for that. I squat 350ish, I hate maxing on squat. And I don't deadlift, Don't like it. But yeah I am pretty proud of my 285 bench when I only weigh 148ish. Thanks!

190 and the BAR,haha,, I think I can bench like 250 or so, i'm kinda weak and plump these days. but hell four surgeries in 11 months, I guess thats not to bad, nut I can't run for shit or squat for craap no, surgeries were in the knees. man you need tohose things to work properly to get around good.

Im 160..

I run a 4.5      40 yard dash

How much do you power clean?

Squat?

Deadlift?

edit - nevermind saw your posts... so you dont deadlift, and you barely squat more than your max bench... might want to stop working on chest and work on other body parts.

235lbs bench 345 x 5 reps, no idea what my max is.

I weigh 185 lbs and work out with 200 - 245 lbs for reps (10-6 reps between those weights).

I have no idea what my max is. I haven't "maxed" in years.

Just trying to stay strong.

I had something clever to say about your post but then I say your name. I've heard about you. I've heard lots of things.

I'm catching up!

Today I benched 250lbs @ 5'10 150

I'm so happy with myself I had to revive this thread

My numbers probably won't last though as soon as I get back in to running

I would be proud of that also.

I don't do bench press for chest I do flat DB presses and I use 90's and 100's for reps, and feel that is pretty good for weighing 190.

Have you had someone knowledgee show you how to do deadlifts?  The gym I lift at has a competitive powerlifter that trains there and he has given me quite a few pointers and changed my whole perception of how to do dead lifts.  His method of course focuses on form, explosive force, and speed.  I think that overall it has made me much stronger.

Give em another try.

You're a freak

I'm 225 and did 315 for 9 last week but it's not a lift I work on.

I did pull 405 for 18 reps on Monday though

We gotta teach these young guys to deadlift!

I weigh 210 and I can bench 210.   I can curl 150 if going for max weight. (With a curl bar)

I used to be able to leg press 500 pounds per leg.   But that was in my "skateboard every day" years,

long in my past.   I have the noisy knees to prove it.

ARFCOM is pretty worked out I see....

I'm 6ft, 195lbs and bench 230lbs for 5 to 8 reps. No clue what my max is. But with my knuckled dragging long arms it's probably not impressive...

naw I'm just a fat guy who likes to lift heavy

405 for 18 on the deadlift? Good lord man, thats nuts. I cannot save I've ever trained my deadlift over 6-8 reps, but I did pull a 695 in 242lb class about 6 yrs ago(suited). I have been slacking on the deads lately though , lower back has been giving me problems, guess I'll have to wash out my vagina and get with it
