I have a slipped disk L5-S1. I went to the doctor about 3 years ago and he gave me some exercises to do they worked but once the pain stopped I stopped doing them well the pain is back I cant find the exercises and don't want to pay the doctor just to get them. Do any of you have some low impact exercise to strengthen the lower back muscles I travel a lot for work so simple things with out equipment are the best
thanks |

Even if you don't remember the specific exercises, do you know what general direction the exercises made you do? Were you rotationing, bending back, bending forward, or a little bit of everything? The only exercises I'm comfortable recommending are planks as they stress stabilization of the entire area.
That being said, you really should go back to the doctor. |
| there was no rotating ones alot of them are kind of like that plank all I remember has have to hold in the positions for a wile there were some with one of those big blowups balls but like I said I travel a lot and don't want to lug one around, Right now I'm also trying to lose some weight because I know that is a problem with my back too |

This took care of my lower back pain
Also a lot of illacus and psoras muscle stretching |
