I'm about 175lbs, going for a goal of about 155lbs.
How much protein should I be taking in? I've heard a gram per kilo, a gram per pound, what does arfcom say? |

first let me say I'm an ameteur at ALL of this stuff...
now for my credentials... I went from 192 to 153 to fight at 155. I failed to take in the 1g per lb protein. My body consumed quite a bit of muscle in the weight loss, despite my hitting the weights every other day. I think if you are cutting weight you want to retain as much lean muscle as possible, so with the cutting calories down to 1500-1800 range (for me) you need to make sure you are taking in the protein. |
