I just wanted to check in and say hi to fellow fitness junkies. I just started working out again and it feels great.I have finally come to terms with the fact that I'm getting older and I'm adjusting my work out accordingly I'm only 43 but like many of you I can push myself harder than my body can take. In fact 6 months ago I pushed to hard and went from the gym straight to the cath lab because I was having a heart attack.
Now dealing with the usual injury's like my shoulder,wrist and elbow is not that big of a deal anymore having to hold back is the hard part.Today I hired a personal trainer so I can change up my routine and to help stay focused. My workouts are getting better everyday so hopefully by the end of the year I will be able to kill it.My goal is to do the Tiger Valley Bugout Drill next year so I have a pretty good goal to work towards. Sorry if I'm rambling I don't usually write like this but...I just felt like it. Mike |
