Does anyone here use Muscle Milk? Sam's had the 8oz bottles in bulk so I bought a couple packs. Seems like a lot of fat. I have no idea what medium chain triglycerides are, but it says they're good for you. I googled a review and it says it's a casein mix so it isn't really a post workout shake. Instead, I've been taking it about an hour before the gym. BTW I emphasize cardio; lifting is secondary. |

I'd say eat a nice clean meal about 2-3 hours before the gym, a quick snack 30 min prior and drink the muscle milk right after you finish lifting. I like to eat after i run so i avoid the stomach bubble's. You can expect a little better recovery from it and maybe some nasty farts if this is your first time taking a protein supplement at least for a few days george |
truth- i take it with a meal after working out for a little extra protein. i use the mix though, the pre-made stuff is |
