Well, I've been drinking protein shakes for pretty much 15 years or so.  I came across one of my favorites recently:

1.5 cups of skim milk
1.5 scoops of vanilla whey protein powder
2 TBS of all natural peanut butter
1 packet sugar-free/fat-free Swiss Miss hot chocolate mix
1 scoop of oatmeal
2 cups of crushed ice

Blend on high for 1 minute, and mmmmmm, tastes like a Reeses peanut butter cup!!

1.5 cups of skim milk
2 scoops of vanilla whey protein powder
1 cinnamon graham cracker
2 cups of crushed ice

Blend on high for 1 minute.  Mmmm.

Feel free to add your own recipe.

2 bananas (ripe)
1 cup oatmeal (dry)
2 Tbls milled flax seed
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1/2 liter of water
2 scoops vanilla protein powder

Combine all ingredients a blender. Blend for 90 sec. drink.  Tastes like a banana milkshake.  Quite filling too.

I've been really bad about not measuring some of the ingredients but this is my breakfast.

~1/2 cup frozen fruit (blueberries, peaches are good. Blackberries are good but too many seeds)
~1/4 cup smooth pb
2-3 ice cubes
1 cup milk
1 scoop protein powder (chocolate is great)
1/2 cup oats
1/2-2/3 cup cottage cheese.

I have one of those single serving blenders that you just switch to the travel mug type top and drink it right out of the blender container.

Here's a few of the Tuna shake recipes from deepsquatter.com

HARDCORE TUNA SHAKE
200gm Tuna in Water (Drained of course)
1+1/4 Pint Semi-Skimmed Milk
2 Large Raw Eggs
2 Medium Sized Bananas
3 Heaped Teaspoons Protein Suppliment (Egg and Milk Whey)

In a blender, one pint mid-morning and one pint mid-afternoon.

TUNA GAINER
1 can Tuna in water
2 cups skim milk
100g rolled oats
4 large ice cubes

Blend until creamy. Drink it slowly.

CHICO STATE PWO TUNA SHAKE
One 6-7 oz. can tuna in water, drained
2 cups orange juice, preferably pulpless
4-5 ice cubes

Blend on "frappe" (don't you love that word) for about 2 minutes. Pour into chilled mug, or beer bong if from Chico, and guzzle.
Probably the best of the tuna shake options for the tuna shake skeptic as all you taste is OJ until you're finished, then the aftertaste creeps up on you.

VIRILE MARY TUNA SHAKE
1 can solid white tuna in water, drained
2 1/2 cups V-8 juice
1 tsp extra virgin olive oil (optional)
2 tbsp lemon juice
a dash of a good Habanero pepper sauce

Dump it all in a blender for a few seconds and frappe for a few seconds til smooth. Serve with a stalk of celery and a Shot of Stoli( a good vasodialtor for you bodybuilders.......the powerlifters are going "a vasodi....WHAT")

Ok here is a question.   For right now I am more concerned wiht getting rid of my fat.  Haven't even starting lifting yet just cardio right now.  Would drinking that first shake (god I love reeces peanut butter cups) for my breakfast in the morning be a bad idea?   Also there is no protein powder added to the first shake?

AS long as you dont consume more calories per day than you need to maintain or lose body fat.

What does the rest of your meals and diet look like?

Nothing fancy for me, just some skim milk, vanilla whey protein powder, and frozen strawberries from Costco.  At least it is quick and easy to make.
