Over the weekend my wife fell, hurting her ankle. She went to get it x-rayed today and this is what the report said:

Findings: Soft tissue swelling lateral malleolus and small ankle effusion. No acute fracture or dislocation.

Impression: Soft tissue swelling and small ankle effusion.

Whats this mean? Just a simple sprain, or something worse.
