We have an opportunity to start carrying some supplements on ARFCOM, and want to see how much interest/demand there would be. Goal would be to provide some of the better products at better prices than what might be available elsewhere using our collective numbers. If there is an interest, what brands are we most interested in pursuing? I happen to be a big fan of the Universal Nutrition/Animal products. Let's make a list and see what kind of deals we can make to determine if its worth pursuing.
INTERESTS: |
+1 on ON Whey. I also purchase BSN Cellmass and N.O. Explode quite a bit. I'm always exploring for new places to buy this stuff online. I'd be willing to purchase from ARFcom if the prices were decent. In other words, I wouldn't pay extra $ just because it's coming from this site - no offense |
That seems to be the biggest issue; pricing is based on quantity, and unless we have some numbers, sites that make a living at that are selling to consumers for less than wholesale pricing. We would almost need to do a "group buy" to kick things off, or to put orders in once a month. |

Ed, I spend over $200 a month on vits and sups. There are several sites I frequent, always looking for sales and the right shipping options. I just don't see how ar15.com could come even close on price and SELECTION. However, I would certainly be in on a group buy if the price is right and, of course, if it's a product I normally use. I buy a LOT of Now Brand products. My last order of just vits, no sups, was over $250 at Iherb.com. It just wouldn't make sense to buy a couple of products here and then have to order the rest from another source. And that's just vitamins. Hope it works. I like the idea of supporting this site. |
I was going to say the same thing. A group buy would be great, but if you sell it on ARFCOM, your not going to make any money. I apreciate the thought, but you would just end up with alot of product that you cant sell. |
