My 9 year old just started taking Gracie Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He picked what he wanted to take, (everybody and their brother takes Tai Kwon Do) and as luck would have it, we have a great instructor right near home! (Google "Mickey Swafford") He has only been in class about 2 months, and he's already showed me some pretty cool stuff! Just wanted to brag...

Cool... starting at a young age to go is a great benefit for just about anything.

He'll be throwing you around with a smile on his face (and probably yours as well) before you know it.
