Seperates the men from the boys. It has to be done correctly. By that I mean use the weight that you would do 12 reps with to failure, then grind out 8 more reps. If you have to rest w/o racking the weight do so. Breathe. Alot. I would do it only once per week. It will make you stronger. |
I did it about 15 years. It was a six week program. Started with 185 for twenty reps and ended with 315 for twenty reps. It worked very well for me. ETA: Now I doubt I could do 135 for 20 reps. ETA: Interestingly, my bench press also went up during that time, but I did not do anything different in regards to chest exercises. |
