OK

The kid at GNC recommended this stuff to me to help me build mass, along with my whey powder. Apparently it's a creatine variant of some kind.

Thoughts on this and creatine in general? I have some experience running but I'm pretty much new to strength training.

TIA

Nxcare is a good company.  Understand that creatine will only 'infuse' water into your muscle. Once you stop taiking it you piss the water out.  Its a good supplement though and you will get results, its just that those results dont last a long time.  Your muscle mass will come from protein and amino acids and glutamine help with muscle mass.  if you have the extra funds then spend them on a creatine supplement and a No supplent....

also, dont buy your stuff from GNC. Its expensive. I order all of my stuff from dpsnutrition.com

good luck

Dont buy anything from GNC, and never trust an employee that recomends any product.  They get commision for pushing certain products.  That and they are highly over priced.  $80 for 20 days of NO  Give me a break.

I worked at a GNC for 2 years in college.  If he is pushing a product he is getting paid to do so.  Next you will tell us he tried to sell you a "Gold Card" membership to come buy stuff the first Tues of every month and that you could get a discount large enough to pay for the card if you purchased enough of the product in question.
