Today's requirements are for 5x50 and the first set of the day done at 1025. 4 more sets owed. I plan to go with this through the 2nd week of August which will leave 1000 pushups to complete the week of the 10th. 1500/week with one rest day for recovery. |

Well it has been a busy group of days and I have not been updating as I would like. I made it to 40,000 pushups YTD last night around 2200hrs. 4 sets yesterday. 1 set on Friday. 10k to go and roughly 8 weeks to accomplish this. |

I broke a rule tonight. Unless I am aiming for 1000 pushups in 1 day, my minimum set is 50 reps. Well, I felt good today, and decided to try for a set of 100 to get to 46,000. I made it to 90, which required me to do a set of 10 and that bothered me. 4000 to go for the year. I am going to try to get a 100 rep set before the challenge concludes for me. |

I put a TRX set-up in my office at work. Being in a military organization, it is almost encouraged. Especially when the person using it is in his 60th year. Every time I get up from my desk I push out 2 sets of 10 doing presses of some type or some pull exercise. My wrist hurt doing the feet elevated pushups so I got some of those rotating pushup grips, problem solved. So, not traditional pushups but multiple times a day I am knocking them out. |
ARFCOM GD hates everything so don't freak out if you catch grief for what you like. Unless you like AKs, then GFY.

Nice work RattleCanAR. I had perfect pushup handles years ago, and gave them to the owner of the gym I was attending. Little did I know I'd want to have them back later ![]() I found using weight lifting gloves was paramount in my work. They've got a wrist strap and a velcro strap that goes over the back of your hand. It is the right amount of support for the work I'm doing. Keep up the good work
