Funny how my new daily minimum of 300 begins page 2.

Started the day with 5 sets of pushups at 0735.  90 reps.  1:40.
2nd set was 60 pushups, which got me half way to my daily goal.

3 sets of 50 to finish out before moving to pullups.  All done by 0800.

I did 50 pullups, which consisted of 2x 15 and 2x 10 with various grip changes.  This was after doing 100 on Saturday in roughly 1 hour.

0710. Get warmed up in the sauna.  I wanted to be here by 0700 but had to stop by work for a few minutes to pick up a tool I needed at home.

First set of pushups began at 0737. 80 reps in 1:22.  220 reps to go.

Set 2 was done at 0745. 70 reps in 0:51. 150 to go for the day.

Sets 3-5 are all 50 reps each.
0750.  0:34.
0755.  0:34.
0800.  0:35.

Somewhere in the back of my mind, I want to get 300 done in 15-16 minutes instead of 24 like it was today.

Perhaps I will do 6 sets of 50 tomorrow and see how much time that requires.

Set 4 done at 0755. 50 reps in 1:00.

Getting a little bit of a late start this morning. Had to meet a good friend of mine at work at 0700 to receive some parts he needs work done on.

Thankfully the sauna in the gym is at 170° and getting my hands thawed out is easier this way

Will begin pushups at roughly 0745.

Guess I am trying to get 70-60 or 65x2.

3rd set of pullups was done at 0754. 10 reps.

3rd set of pushups was 50 reps at 0757. 0:37.  100 to go.

4th set of pullups was done at 0800. 10 reps.

4th set of pushups was 50 reps done at 0804. 0:37.

5th set of pushups was 50 done at 0807. 0:50.

900 to go for the week. 150 to go for pullups for the week.

Tomorrow will get some kettlebell swings and mid-air catches in place of pullups.

Starting pushups at 0745.  80 reps in 1:15.

Decided to get pullups done today.

First set of pullups done at 0750. 15 reps.

2nd set of pushups was done at 0754. 70 reps in 0:51.

2nd set of pullups was done at 0758. 15 reps.

3rd set of pushups was 50 at 0800. 0:34.

3rd set of pullups was 10 reps at 0805. Close grip with one hand forward of the other.

4th set of pushups was 50 reps done at 0809. 0:32.

Last set of pullups for the day at 0812. 10 reps.

5th set of pushups was 50 reps done at 0815. 0:31.

2 more days of 300/day, 2 days of 50x pullups, 1 or 2 days of kettlebell swings and catches for 100-150 reps.

First set of 80 pushups was done in 1:12.

Set 2 was 70 done in 1:01.  That was at 0800.

Sets 3-5 were all 50.

3rd at 0806. 0:33.

4th at 0810. 0:34.

5th at 0814. 0:35.

Didn't have time to update this morning, but 300 pushups were boringly completed again today.

70-70-60-50-50.

Started at 0754 and finished at 0809.

Set 1 took 0:54.  Set 2 was 1:12.  Set 3 was 60 in around a minute.  4th was done in about 38 seconds, and the 5th was about 44 seconds.

8300 for the year complete.

Let's see if I can knock out 100 pushups on my first set this morning.

Beginning at 0754.  Failure at 98.  2:00.

202 to go.

Shooting for 72, 70, and 60 to complete.

Next set at 0800. 72 in 0:52.

130 to go.

Set 3 was done at 0804. 70 reps in 1:06.

Last set of the day at 0808. 60 reps in 0:57.

300 tomorrow gets me to 9500 for the year. I might shoot for 10k by Sunday.

Working on 300 this morning again from a hotel.

First set done at 0624. 80 reps.

2nd set done at 0631. 70 reps.

3-5 all 50 reps each.

3rd done at 0635.

4th at 0640.

5th at 0643.

Really looking forward to getting home and using my gym again.

Got 100 done at 1730 in 1:54.

2nd set, 50 reps, took 0:33 at 1736.

3rd set, 50 reps, at 1740, took 0:34.

4th set was done at 1744. 0:34.

Last set of the day was done at 1747. 0:35.

I told my wife I was starting pushups at 1730 and finishing before 1750. Success.

Set 1 of pullups started at 0740.  15 reps.

2nd set of pushups was done at 0743. 70 reps. 0:50.

Set 2 for pullups was done at 0747. 15x.

Just checking back in

Thanks for starting the post. When I first posted in Jan I could do maybe 25 push ups.  

Now I can do my daily 100 in 1 set & try to get two a day when I can.  Well on the way to hitting my 35k.

I just told my wife that by my 43rd birthday, I wanted to be able to put 300 pushups down in under 10 minutes.

Today gave me some inspiration.  Glad you're benefitting as well.

Going to get 300 pushups and 100 kettlebell swings and mid-air catches done today.

Pushups started at 0738. 90 reps in 1:40.

2nd set 60 reps in 0:42.

3rd set at 0746. Done in 0:36.

4th done at 0749. 0:36.

5th set at 0752. 50 reps in 0:35.

14000 for the year. Now I have to pick whether I will do 1000 in one day or 500 in consecutive days next week.

I haven't been updating much this week.  Been doing a lot of kettlebell catches and pull-ups, etc.  I'm going to do my 1k pushup challenge tomorrow after work starting around 1400hrs and seeing if I can finish before 1700.

My guess is it will happen, since I'm mentally capable of putting 300 down in under 15 minutes, which leaves 2 hours and 45 minutes to do 700.

I did do some dips early in this week to change up what motions I'm going through and I'm hoping to see if I can put my first or 2nd set of pushups over 100 to maybe 110 reps.

Today gets me to 18000.

Next week will have 1500 more and then I'll do 500 in a single day to get to 20k.

The week with the single day will incorporate dips with my chain belt a couple days and flies and other chest exercises.

After reaching 20k, 400 pushups per day for 5 days/wk to 30k.

After that, 500 per day until 65000.

Starting pushups at 0742.

First set came in at 100 reps in 1:43.

0746. 50 in 0:35.  Halfway through.

0749. 50 reps in 0:36.

0752. 50 pushups in 0:49.

0755. 50 pushups in 0:44.

20 pullups to complete now.
