Well that will set me back a while. I coach cross country at my son's scool we were running in the rain today to build some character after much whining from some of the kids. At the last 100m of our run challenged everyone to a sprint back to the shelter. Hit a mud patch and my lead foot went out with all my weight on it I felt a pop in my hamstring and went straight to the ground. Mother fucker I am in some pain right now it will suck not being able to run with the kids for a few weeks and I have a tough mudder in 4 weeks. Hopefully it is better by then. Last time I had a hamstring injury it took the better part of 3 months to be completely "normal". FML
Not to mention my poor deadlift gains I just hit my all time PR on Monday |

Torn or strained? If it's torn, good luck with that. I still have the knot in my left ham from 10 years ago. Pretty sure it is torn. Heading to the doc later. There was a distinct pop I have has strains before and didn't have anywhere near this pain. Cannot walk on it at all today. |

I'm still very leery of my hamstring as I can feel it start saying fuck you on dead sprints. |
