Does anyone have any experience with mace training. I happened to be looking at Seal Grinder and found a link to Onnit, com and saw This page for the steel mace. It looked interesting and could very well make some days a little more fun.

Chris Duffin has a product called the shoulderock that is a loadable mace essentially. You may want to check out his videos on it. Supposed to be great for your shoulders.

The shoulderrok looks good. I'd prefer that since it's loadable. I would assume you could do the same exercises with it. Thanks for the link.

+1 on Shoulderok

Duffin is a mad genius,  and having used one,  I can vouch that the Shoulderok is a great tool

I've seen some of this stuff online before, but I don't know anything about the training style.  Is there any reason why you couldn't just use a sledgehammer for a while to try it out?  I already have 8 lb and 10 lb sledges I guess I could start with to try out before buying something expensive.

Although I will admit the onnit steel maces are surprisingly cheap considering the prices of some of their other stuff.

I look forward to some nasty blooper reels on Youtube once people start swinging these things around like the fat kid in the lightsabre video.
