Hey, could we have a stickied thread for the gangs records? Kinda like the moa all day challenge?

Im not sure we need "proof" but maybe a video if someone calls bullshit?

Maybe do the top 5 lifters for the big 3 and any other lift the group wants?

I dont think we need weight classes. There are no prizes.

I know im not quite ready to start bragging about my current max numbers but give me a few months

That's awesome.  You're only 105lbs ahead of me on the snatch, you'd better be looking over your shoulder! I don't want to think about how big the gap is on the clean.

I am likely stronger, as far as barbell movements go, than RustedAce.

He is, however, no question far far more fit than myself. Strength isn't everything, but in this thread...

Honestly, this would be pretty cool. Who's the mod here? I'd love to see a set of weight classes, and an updated sticky with the...top 10? for each lift.

If we are within 3-4 months, than I can claim 315 bench at 185ish.  Currently at 178 and focusing solely on hypertrophy, but I am 100% sure it has gone down.

After blowing out a shoulder and a knee, I won't get my weights back up to where they used to be.

After I finished college football, I did:

Bench - 405 for set of 5
Squats - 585
DL - 650
Power Clean - 325

ETA: These were at bodyweight of 250.

I think a couple months is ok. This is  justa fun comp. Most of us cycle and i dont intend to interfere with guys workouts or diet goals.

Sooners 315 bench? gtg
a marathon time from 06 or college PRs? notsomuch
btw my time for the 04 Marine Corps marathon was 4.05 andI had to stand post tthe next day.

I just don't max that often, except for the oly lifts. I pick a program and follow it and max when it tells me to.

*I can no longer do barbell bench or overhead. I probably need surgery but, since I can still use dumbbells and have been able to maintain the same strength/size with dumbbells that I had when I could barbell bench, I've been holding off. OHP is straight fucked. I have barely do 35lb db's without pain, but again, I've been able to keep size with laterals and upright rows, so I'll wait till something gives.

Seriously. It took me 8 months to recover from a double supraspinatus injury, and we are not sure yet that I will avoid surgery when all is said and done. It has taken me a while to get even nearly back to where I was before I got injured, and you don't realize just how little you can do in the gym until you fuck your shoulders up.

Put up a 245# OHP today and it was a struggle. Before I got injured I was able to 5-rep it.

I have soreness that constantly comes and goes in both shoulders and come-and-go numbness in my hands. Doc says even though I don't need surgery that it may be permanent. And when it is in full-swing, I have trouble even laying on my back and getting comfortable sleeping. God forbid I roll onto one or the other and sleep on it for any period of time.
