Hope everyone has had a great holiday and Merry Christmas, I am currently recovering from multiple surgery (leg vein stuff no biggie) and starting at a new MMA place that does BJJ. Any suggestions on a BJJ Gi and cant find a size that fits me. A3 or A4?? My size is 5'8" and weigh around 225 lbs. Any suggestions would be great and I am so looking forward to getting back to training !!!

What's your budget?

I bought a Fushida a couple months back and am very happy with it. The Origin Pro Comp is next on my list.

Cant help with sizing, better to try them on, some like a little looser than others.

I like mine kinda tight and always had them tailored to fit how I wanted within regulation...

I always bought Koral lightweights for what it's worth...

You sound like a wide A3... I know Fushida provides that sizing. I would recommend them, just talk to Chrysto and he'll get you sized correctly. I've been using Fushida for years in Judo and BJJ, I've tried other brands and keep coming back to them.

Fuji is always a great go to gi for a good price.  Checkout BJJHQ.com everyday for good deals.  They have their own store site dedicated to bjj now too http://www.rollmore.com/

Just wanted say thanks for the responses. I was at a party and meet a guy who hooked me up with a gameness gi from mmawarehouse. The a4 size fit and he basically gave me the gi for half price off retail. Never knew the guy worked there and didn't even ask for the price break he just gave it to me. Will update after i roll in it tomorrow.

I was gonna suggest Gameness... seems like their sizing is short and wide.  Hope it works out for you.

Get something with good reinforcements, specially the lapel and on the knees and elbows.

My 3 Shoyoroll Gis are my favorite, hands down, but their availability has always been an issue, plus long wait times.

I have a Gameness Competition and a Gameness Light that I absolutely love and have held up fantastically.
