hypertrophy: eat a Fuck ton. lift moderate weights for high reps, multiple times per week ( as a beginner), sleep a lot. don't forget calf raises... ;) or eat tons, lift heavy to get stronger, and the size. follows. do starting strength or 531 or cube if you're a stud who likes pain. |

You can also do Greyskull. But do this after madcow or texas method. I have never tried or knew anyone who tried the Greyskull LP but it looks good. My friend does StrongLifts Advanced workout. But he also started on StrongLifts instead of SS. I only wish I would have found these programs when I was 20 instead of finding SS at 33. I have gained so much strength and size in the last three years compared to the previous 13. |

Before you start 5/3/1 I would purchase that book to. I know I've mentioned it before, but if you have a Kindle (or the free Kindle app for your smartphone) you can pick up Starting Strength, Practical Programming, and Wendler's 5/3/1 for $10 each from Amazon. |
