I was 220. Doing at least an hour to hour and a half on the treadmill everyday. A good walk. I don't run. (unless I'm being chased.)

I upped my protein. More tuna, salmon. Egg whites. More veggies.
Smaller portions. Cutting down on carbs.

I have been on a diet myself. I'm 6'4", I started at 240 lbs almost 3 months ago. I weighed in at 207.8 today. My goal was 200, but I've changed it to at least 190. I feel great!

I know exactly how you feel. I'm 5'9 and weighed 258 this time last year. I'm probably about 228 now. I changed the way I eat and started lifting weights every other day to lose the first 28lbs. I hit a plateau and stopped losing weight so last week I started running. I'm doing about 3.5-4 miles every other night. I'm not the speediest guy when I run but each night I am setting personal records in pace and overall time.
More importantly...I feel fuckin' great!
