My neighbor does this and loves it. I can't deny that he is ripped and he ate like a pig at our 4th celebration.

Anyone have any info on it?

Those tend to be the most referenced sources.

I've been trying it, and I have to say it works.

It's easy to not eat, it's effective in fat burning.

For me, this fits my lifestyle perfectly. It's simple to apply and stick to it.

I actually feel better this way, and way more in tune with my dietary needs.

Downsides...

Too much energy, so it's hard to sleep. Here's why, but read the whole article:

And it's also hard to eat as much as you should, even for caloric deficit.

I'm still learning how to handle this, as well as getting used to working out in a fasted state.

These are the biggest changes for me.

You don't want to be starved for carbs or fiber. Best to mix it up with a re-feed day.

Taking a break from fasting also gives your glands a rest.

I don't think you want to adopt IF 7 days a week as a lifestyle. I do believe you'd burn out over time.

Doing it 4-5 days a week, I don't see it as a bad thing... just so long as you make sure you've eaten enough over the week.
