Morning Hive,

So about 8 some weeks ago I managed to get some really bad tendonitis in my wrist. I was lifting decently heavy, probably with too much frequency. In addition to that I jumped in a rowing shell for the first time in 7 years and really aggravated it. Long story short, the interweb and my doc agree and I've given myself Intersection Syndrome.

"Intersection syndrome is a painful condition that affects the thumb side of the forearm when inflammation occurs at the intersection of the muscle bellies of the abductor pollicis longus and extensor pollicis brevis cross over the extensor carpi radialis longus and the extensor carpi radialis brevis" per wikipedia

So I had it in a make shift splint up until about 2 weeks ago, but in reality the problem hasn't gone away. Anyone have any advice or have had this? Treatment started with corticosteroid/lidocaine injection and the split. The majority of the pain is gone, but some is still there and if I lift, I have to use light weights and it still bugs me. After damn near 8 weeks without really working out it's amazing I haven't gone postal. At the moment, surgery really isn't an option (no time, no health insurance, no money) and I'd like to avoid that anyway. Anyone have some magic stretches or therapy that worked for them? Thanks everyone.
