I'm trying to eat pretty primal/paleo. I want to know if this is ok. I buy my chicken and fish in bulk from BJ's. The chicken is frozen from tyson. It states on the bag it is skinless/boneless and it has no preservatives or hormones added. The ingredients are chicken. Same thing with the fish. There is no salt or anything. Is this ok? I was curious because everything I am reading says for it to be grown fresh or not in a bag or wrapper.

Also, are mushrooms ok to eat on the primal/paleo type of diets?

Thanks.

Sounds like you're OK, though IMO, skinless, boneless = flavorless.

I go for bone in, skin on (at least for cooking).
