So for the last 8 weeks I've been taking N-Zero as a pre-workout supplement and have stopped feeling it's effects.

I know I should cycle off of it for at least 2-4 weeks, but I couldn't find a clear answer as to what to expect from cycling off. I know I'll probably get head aches and such from the caffeine withdrawals and I also think I may lose some mass.

Would I experience decreased strength and endurance? or just decreased endurance?

I have also thought about cutting it out all together and not taking it again. I guess it's just something about doing "naturally." No offense to those taking it, I meant as close to natural as possible.

Is there anyone that has completely cut them out?

What did you experience after the initial cycling off?

Were there consistent gains after that and was it tougher to get through a longer workout?

Thanks in advance y'all.

ETA: I have not been taking it on off days, so idk if that affects the length of time needed to cycle off. I take it on days we lift, which are 5 days out of the week.

I went and bought some No Xplode to see if it did anything different, but i didn't really feel it, so I guess I would have to up the dose to maybe 1.5-2 scoops to see if i get any effect from it.

More than anything i don't want to lose any strength gains that I've gotten while I was on the pre-workout as a result of me getting off of it.

ETA: I haven't been taking any test-boosters or stuff like that so I guess my strength wouldn't be affected, just my endurance through the workout. At least thats how I hope it'll work.

I'd say the answer there is "it depends"

It was concluded that caffeine can favourably affect some strength parameters in highly resistance-trained males.

Some studies I reviewed show no impact on max strength in other muscles.

i recently came off a pretty long period of ECA use. No big deal. you build a resistance to the ephedrine and the caffeine. i stopped the ephedrine first, then scaled back the caffeine gradually. no problems. I tend to have a pretty high tolerance for these sorts of things though.

caffeine headaches are pretty annoying; especially when you're on really big doses...

Come off of the caff slowly.

Same if you start taking ECA... Ephedra is pretty wicked to come off of w/o a taper.

So earlier in the thread I stated that the NO Xplode didnt affect me at all. I spoke too soon. It kept me up until 5am and gave me a headache. I guess my body just didn't like it.

So after thinking about it today, I decided that maybe I was just worrying about stuff and that was was kept me up. So I decided to try it again today. I did one scoop with about 6oz of water and drank it. I definitely felt the tingling feeling and was focused during my lifting session. But once again, the headaches have set in and I feel a little too focused. It just doesn't feel right.

I'm probably going to just get a sample pack of N Zero and do my lifting session tomorrow with it since it's my last session of the week. After that I'll cut out all stims for a month.

How would y'all suggest I taper off of the caffeine? Other than the pre-workouts I don't really intake any other kinds of caffeine.

ETA: As far as the dosing goes, I took a scoop of NO Xplode the last couple of days, but I was up to about 1.5 scoops of the N Zero.

If all you do is take supplements preworkout, I'm pretty doubtful that you use enough caffeine to cause a rebound headache from a neurological standpoint.

If i tally up all my coffee and this devil-juice called Mio-Energy... Combined w/ my preworkout supplement, I'm between 500 and 800mg/day. Good stuff. I hate being a slave to it, but working 80+hrs/wk makes it a necessity... especially if I'm to get my workout in at the end of a 14-16hr shift like i usually have to.

To get the best effect of High caffeine supplements?––>  Cycle them for 4-6 wks on, 1-2 wks off. I usually like 6 on 2 off... When you start back after the hiatus, the PWO will actually give you some juice.
