Hey everyone,
I've got a retarded busy schedule, early mornings, long days. I'm curious what you all do for healthy lunches? I suppose I could double-up on my dinners and pack leftovers... |

-almost every day - large garden salad w/ ~2 cups of greens and whatever fruit/veggies sound good - tomatoes, broccoli, avocado, jicama, bell peppers, hot peppers, strawberries, etc, dressed w/ olive oil (extra virgin & some citrus juice)
-canned herring or sardines -salmon salad made w/ greek (turkish?) yogurt -tuna salad as above -boiled eggs alternatively, leftovers |

A couple times a week I cook a 3# bag of boneless chicken thighs. In the morning I put 2-3 of them in a microwavable bowl and fill it the rest of the way with broccoli. At lunch time I throw it in the microwave for 4 minutes and when it's done I kill it with hot sauce then devour it |

I make a salad on sunday night and eat it all week. Throw in a sammich, almonds, protein shake and its pretty healthy. Any tricks for keeping the veggies from wilting? My lettuce and tomato looks pretty bad after just a couple days. Don't add the maters until the morning. They shouldn't be refrigerated. I use grape or cherry tomatoes so it's easy to just throw in a handful. I typically by bagged or boxed organic greens, prechop the other veggies and keep them in segregated tupperware. In the AM, it's just a handful from this container, a handful from that and voila - salad happens. |

Tag. I am trying to lose a few lbs, and lunch is usually my undoing
I need to plan out the week so I don't end up at Five Guys. Fresh or frozen berries in unvflavored Greek yogurt Omelette muffins |

Buy some Tupperware or gladware and make your lunches at the beginning of each week. Put them in the freezer and take one with you each morning. Nuke and eat. Simple, healthy, and cheaper than buying shitty protein bars/shakes.
Foods I typically eat throughout the day are brown rice, chicken breast, mixed veggies, sweet potato, greek yogurt, and oat meal. I try to get most of my protein from natural food sources -however, I do supplement with two shakes a day. |
