Any of the runners out there done any overnight team relays?

Did one recently and it was a blast.

For those who are unfamiliar with them, basically you have a team with each member running a set number of legs of the relay. The one I did was about 180 miles total for the 12-person team. Each member did three legs. It takes teams anywhere from 24-32 hours to complete.

The overall mileage isn't terrible, but having to run your third leg after being up for 24 hours can test you.

Overall though it's a really fun time.

I will be in Vegas next month doing one down there.  It will be my first.  Did a 12 hour mountain run last weekend and I am thinking it cant be worse than that.

I've also ran Hood 2 Coast (a few times) and yeah, they're a lot of fun.  12 runners, each running 3 legs which average about 5 miles each.  Sounds like the OP ran H2C as well as it was ~ 2 weeks ago.
