Optimum Nutrition mixes and tastes great.  This plus it doesn't have all the heavy metals like the other guys...

I like Optimum Nutrition also. I get the Vanilla Ice Cream flavor and mix it with orange juice. A protein rich Orange Julius.

True Protein unflavored has proven to be very versatile.  I bought a bunch of the flavors and they are okay, but my favorite mix so far is 16oz of water, two scoops of whey and a single serving Crystal Light (I use Walmart generic) packet.  Stick with basic flavors like Cherry, Grape and Fruit Punch and it is GTG.

I recently tried Coke Zero and whey and enjoyed the experience greatly.  Finally, you can't go wrong with 2% milk, whey and sugar free chocolate syrup.

Labrada Carb Watcher - Chocolate Mousse- 40 gm of protein and tastes good with only water.

They all kind of taste like crap. Mix them a bit thin, slam the whole thing at once, then say "Yuck." I use the smiley, but if you are mixing from powder, I am 100% serious about the strategy.

Pre-fabbed: I like the Premier Nutrition Chocolate ones from Costco.

I mix muscle milk chocolate powder with unsweetened chocolate or vanilla almond milk. makes it nice and creamy without adding any carbs, and less than half the calories of skim milk.

Almond milk is awesome on cereal too

ON whey - cookies and cream is probably my all-time fav, fruit punch is good for something off the beaten path (I normally don't like fruit flavors).  I almost always mix in fat free milk but they're fine in water too.  Don't find their caseine as tasty (or to mix as easily) but it's not as bad as some of the stuff I've tried.

so many different responses.  I thought there would be one that stuck out.  I have heard good things about Muscle Milk tho and that was mentioned a couple times.

I want a low carb, version.  plan on mixing it with skim milk and some fruit after workouts at night so I am not eating a big meal.

Double Rich Chocolate ON Gold protein powder is my favorite, and I'm very sensitive to chocolate. By sensitive I mean I can't eat it, it makes me nauseous.

I like Body Fortress from Walmart.  Vanilla is pretty good.  Mix a scoop of that in with a half cup of homemade yogurt.  Good stuff.
