Suggestion for a great ad campaign.
Have a traveling show with a couple of your rifles and a couple of your employees and take it to all 50 states. Hit at least three strategically located areas of each state, which in most states will put you within 100 miles one way or the other of nearly all of you potential customers, although some states may require more stops. I can promise you there are a few folks just on here that can find a farm or a range where you can shoot and show off the rifles. 1. Let the folks that show up shoot them. 2. Give them Swag 3. Serve BBQ with your dillo sauce and give away one per plate. The plates will be the entry fee, to weed out tire kickers, say $25 or $50 a plate. 4. Take orders for the new sales. You will need to bring along enough people to set up , and to film the events in a quality manner. Film the whole event, the interaction with staff and each other, the shooters reactions when they handle them and shoot them, the targets etc,, and especially, the BBQ eating and interaction with YOU Mark. You only need to make one of the shoots per state honestly, but get that on film. Then, post videos here, and on youtube. Oh, yeah, the next step. 5. Profit |

I'm in Plano and I'm off on Sunday. I'll be there one day, anyway. If, that is, I can get an address. Google Maps has something listed as Wise Wildlife Solutions in two locations when I search for Sportsman Shooting Center. http://www.sportsmanshootingcenter.com Sportsman Shooting Center 1960 Enchanted Way Grapevine, TX 76051 (817) 310-8382 |

While Larue isn't hurting for sales, the reason I mention a road trip, youtube, and all the other, is that outside of the "tactical" shooting community, LEO, military etc, a huge number of shooters have no clue who or what the company is, or it's level of quality. There are lots of people that would be a perfect fit for a Larue product if they knew about it.
Being on this site all the time, we forget that we are a very, very small segment of the shooting world, and even smaller of the world altogether, and what we take as common knowledge, other people have no idea of. It would be very, very simple for the company to do this thing. The one thing I didn't mention, was about Mark himself. I did mention he should make one stop per state, but, while he is in that state, he could have it arranged where he meets up with a pro gun senator, governor, congressman etc. There are enough of us with connections that could get a meet and greet, with a person in government to show up at the event, meet Mark, and have Mark present them with a hat, Dillo Dust, etc, get pics, and let the local news in on it. Free airtime. Enjoy. |

That ain't BBQ, that's just roasted meat that you can dip in what probably amounts to Ketchup with vinegar and a little pepper in it! You know I'm right!!!! Now I'm never going to win the LaRue contest |
