Need to make an attachment for a rail. Need advice for the cutters. Dovetail won't work because of the double angle. Thoughts? Advice? I'm still an an amature so be nice, please.

One idea....Use a Woodruff key cutter (or a ground form tool /fly cutter) to cut the square area then a 90 degree double angle cutter to angle to cut the top/bottom of the rail

Thank you! I was thinking of grinding a woodruff key into the 90 degree but that wood have been a pain getting it just right and not damaging the teeth.
