Is this legit? need something to support my thermal scope since it came in. ANy help appreciated thanks! |

I have a silk and it is a decent tripod for the price of the combo you cant beat it. I like the rest as well and I own both the PRS/Silk setup and the Manfrotto/Pig setup. I went into more depth in the thread I hot linked. For a thermal setup this would be more then enough to support it, add some velcro straps or bungees to lock it in and you should be good to go.
Question has been answerd here. |

I would really like to buy into these tripod set-ups but they look so damn heavy I can't imagine lugging them around. A group of us go p-doggin in SD every yr. Some shoot from benches all day, I like to move around. Rifle, pack with water, lots and lots of ammo, mags, pick-up brass and a aluminum tripod with just a v-block on top(probably weighs 3#)
Love The idea of "locking" the rifle into an attachment and letting it hang free on the tripod but again too much weight. And I know I could lighten up with carbon but holy balls the cost!! |
