Hello Gentlemen, I am looking for a larue scope mount 30mm that is easy to take off and put on another rifle. (both guns are bolt action picatinny rail one is us optics and another is black hawk, both are one piece)
here is my choice just not sure which one to use http://www.laruetactical.com/riflescope-mounts?sort=popular thank you gen |

You're wanting a LT mount for one optic to use between two rifles? Unless they're the same exact rifle, and even then maybe not, they won't zero the same and you'd have to re-zero the optic each time you install it, which defeats the purpose and design of the LT mount.
If I assumed wrong, I apologize. Give us some more info so we can help. Cheers. |

I am planning on buying a us optics scope or a Schmidt bender scope and I have two rifle. I don't have enough money to buy 2 Schmidt and bender scopes. yes I know I will have to zero both, but if I take notes on elevation I can always go back to the that data.
my max distance is 600 yards |

I zeroed the scope on the primary rifle, sited it in on the second rifle, and wrote down the windage and elevation. It worked great until I was able to save enough for another scope. |
| LaRue makes special two piece QD scope ring sets in 30mm especially for the lower stock height of bolt guns with Picatinny rails. This will work if you return the scope to the same rail slot each time. As stated above, zero for the rifle you use the most and write down the elevation and windage adjustments needed for the other rifle. Consider taping that to the stock on the second rifle, like many do for distance and wind dope. With bolt guns you can also put a bore inserted arbor scope collimator to use and write down the grid numbers. |
