Vortex riflescope mounts > Optics, Mounts, and Sights

Has anybody used them? I was leaning towards an ADM mount for my Vortex AMG, but I saw Vortex also makes mounts.

I haven't handled those, but I will say that Geissele mounts are the best mounts I've ever used. Very solid.

G mounts are solid and very nicely made. They're also expensive and I really don't see what capability they bring that eclipses the NF Unimount.

I still have a couple G mounts, they're pretty and I got them on sale

The only issue I have with it is how extended it looks. Maybe if the front rail mount was split between the ring mounts it might look a bit more balanced. Looks to be too far extended.

Is there plenty of clearance on the 20MOA version with the AMG on a full length top rail (AR-10)?

It's 1.574" from base to center so should be plenty of clearance as 1.5" works with full rails with the Razor II 56mm objective.

I used the Vortex Tactical rings on my RPR and they are great. Attached them to the rail and checked them with the Wheeler ring lap setup and they matched perfectly with no lapping needed. After 80 rounds they are still tight.
