I'm starting a new precision bolt rifle build, and I would like to try some Nightforce glass on this one.  After a little of research, it seems like they must have strict MAP policies because the minimum prices are the same everywhere.  It also seems like online retailers exclude Nightforce products from website-wide sales, too.  Am I missing something or is it just fixed pricing everywhere?

Also, I don't see many retailers on EE selling Nightforce.  I would like to support an ARF vendor if possible.  Anybody specific that I should talk to?

I think the NXS line are not FFP so watch out for that. They are still great scopes, just be aware.

I am not that worried about FFP, but I do appreciate that comment.  Do you have an NXS?  I'm struggling to choose between the 5-22x56 NXS and the 5-25x56 ATACR.  Honestly, I'm also struggling to come to grips with how much magnification that I need.

i have an older NXS with out zerostop.  3-15 and i like the scope.

i recently purchased a SHV F1 and while its an excellent scope if i had known about this sale i would have picked up another NXS with zero stop for my 260 rem..

i mean link thats a heck of a deal... thats 500 dollars less than midway!

You're going to want FFP in that mag range. 10X is about my limit on a SFP scope.   FFP makes the scope much easier to use and just makes life in general simple since there is a lot of time spent below 22X and you still have a lot of magnification available where you may want to use your reticle.

I shoot an ATACR 4-16X42 f1 and I love it.  It's on a .223 bolt gun and it way more scope than I need.  I've had it on a .260 and it's plenty to get you out to 1K and beyond.

In the 5-25 range, the Vortex Razor Gen2 4.7-27 is super solid and most people seem to prefer it to the ATACR by a tiny slight bit.  I've handled both, but not used them, and I still like the ATACR due to it's slightly smaller/lighter size, and I prefer the turrets.

The ATACR 4-14 f1 is still my favorite out of all of 'em.  I think it's the best scope Nightforce has made to date.  It, and the 2.5-10X42 (which is SFP) are my two favorite scopes of all time.  In the higher power scopes, Vortex and USO are worth a serious look.
