We are a distributor of Alpen and I have quite a few 6-24x50 scopes. We are a cutting tool house and mainly have the line so employees can buy them.  I love them. Just curious why you don't hear more about them. Anyone have any stories about them? For the money I haven't found a better scope and so far haven't seen the need to buy ones that cost more.

They were pretty big sponsors for target archery while I was competing. They pre-date vortex. I've only ever used their binos and spotting scopes in the past, and an curious to see about the rifle scope answers as well. They also had a decent warranty too.

They are made in California and have a lifetime no fault warranty.  I can't tell the difference between them ab my $1000 bino's.  I have them on 17hmr- 300WSM and they stayed zeroed on all.  Plus they pass the box test.

I've got an Alpen 1.5-6x 30mm rifle scope that I got on one of Amazons killer clearance deals. Mounted it on a 5.56 AR and have no complaints.

I have one of their spotting scopes, got a killer deal on it so it was worth a shot. I've been very happy with it.

I think the price on them are great.  Shot my 204 AR yesterday and was hitting tannerite at 240 yards.  It was the size of 1/2 of a Coke can.  That was with their cheap 6-24x50.  Wasn't only me, another person did it firs time behind the gun.  Ringing the 6in plate was nothing. Did it with 308, 204 and 220 swift.
