I looking at a 308 that won't break the bank before I buy all the extras. What has been the experience with the bigger brother the 18 inch barrel. The price looks right and what they offer is good.

Is this a good entry 308 rifle. also I have a spec war that i want to try on it. " I love that dam can".

OP. How much you want to spend? What's breaking the bank to you?

Extras other than a suppressor...wide range on the prices there.

well for me I think 2k is the make for me. I can't justify spending 6k for a 308. aka "KAC"

I have my suppressor so i think i save with that. but what would say is reasonablet to you.

Well, $2K makes it a tight budget. $1300'ish + tax or transfer/sh to  ffl.

minimum requirements:
Handguard:  $200 - $300
BiPOD... Harris BR-S and LT706 QD Combo $220+ s/h
BuIS...    Troy front and back  $200'ish

Optic: ?? No money left in your budget.
Trigger?? (anything better than a mil trigger) $250 ..nothing in budget.
Muzzle adapter for your can..$100

Maybe save up some more money, or go bare bones and have fun now.

According to the InterWeb experts who reviewed the rifle, it has reasonable accuracy OotB.

What is your intended use?

Well, sounds like you know what you want. Post pics of your new rifle when you get it. Fingers crossed that its a shooter and Accurate!

Once you know which side the pointy stuff comes out, get on the MOA all day long thread.

ya don't forget the shoulder thing that goes up.

I have to get some good quality ammo and start with the groupings. looking maybe later in the year. this gun addiction, is a expensive habit. What is even worst is this chronic NFA disorder. my wallet weeps with the tears of a 1000 children.
