The “I’m not broke but I’m too broke for custom shit” precision rifle. Tikka T3X CTR in 6.5 Creedmoor Vortex Viper HD 5-25x50 VMR4 Vortex Pro Series scope rings Harris S-LM bipod Only things I plan on changing in the near future is the vertical Tikka grip, bottom metal to take AICS mags, and a Pod-Loc for the Harris. Just picked this up, Remington 700 pss .223 1990 manufactured unfired. Added Timney HIT trigger set to 1 1/12# EGW 0 MOA picitanny rail Leupold rings Vortex HST 4-16  Remington 700 5r milspec 308, barrel cut and crowned at 18” by Georgia Precision Timney trigger set to 1 1/2# Badger Ordnance 20 MOA base Talley extra low rings Vortex PST II 3-15 FFP This gun shoots sun MOA easily.

Got done shooting a NRL match today and I broke out the new toy. Mile High Shooting rethreaded and mounted up the muzzle brake attachment for my Thunderbeast 50 BMG suppressor. Between a 30 inch barrel and a long suppressor, the rifle is taller than I am. The noise (or lack of) coming out of this thing is unbelievable, even with burning over 225 gns of 20N29 powder. It sounds like a suppressed 308. The recoil is about 1,000 times more mellow than it was with my AAC Cyclops. It feels like I am shooting a shotgun with 1 1/4 oz hunting ammo. Not bad at all. Ray, Zak and Shane really outdid themselves this time. When shooting prone zero dust was kicked up and no muzzle flash was evident, even with a slow-mo video shot fwd of the muzzle.

New build is shooting amazing. Specs: 300 Norma Magnum Terminus Kratos Krieger 30” HV MDT brake MDT ESS chassis TT Diamond @ 1lb MDT mags NF Atacr 7-35 T3 NF rings 220’s shoot in .3’s @ 3,160 245’s shoot in .4’s @ 2,940 Hits at 1,579 were pretty easy Saturday. |

Late 80s model Remington 700 that I had re-barreled in 300 PRC. Put it in an AI AX chassis, Surefire 300SPS suppressor, NF ATACR 7-35x56 in a SPUHR mount. Trigger is a Timney 510v2 Elite, had the action blueprinted and the lug replaced, new bolt knob. RRS rail and RRS conversion on a Harris bipod.  |

Finally got this put together last night. First non-AR that I pieced together and built how I wanted. Zermatt Origin lefty short action Osprey Barrel, 6.5 Creedmoor, 7.5 twist, M24 contour from PVA McMillan A4 Hawkins M5 DBM Harris S-BRM 9”-13” Vortex Viper HD 5-25 sitting in Vortex rings Loaded up the 3 AICS mags I have on hand last night and made sure the rifle would cycle with no issues. Just need to check headspace after the gauges assuming they show up today or tomorrow. Assuming headspace checks out, I’ve got like 8 different boxes of various match loadings to do break in and accuracy tests with. Only thing left to figure out is a muzzle device while I save up for a suppressor for it. Attached File |

Gave my old .308 build a facelift. Initial build was an H-S Precision stock, SFP scope with a weird mil-dotbar reticle and rings that were too low, and a fixed bipod.  Pulled the barreled action and dropped it into an MDT Oryx chassis with an MDT GRND bipod, Arken FFP scope and rings. So much more adjustability!
