So after a couple of years more focused on gs guns I have been (re) bitten by the long range bug and decided to put together a new rifle.

Specs are:
Savage long action single shot
Brux 30" Heavy Varmint Barrel, setup with the "BugNut" barrel nut and chambered by Greg at SPR
Vortex Razor Gen II 4.5-27x56
Boyds Stock, Pro Varmint Forest Camo Laminate - Pillar and Devcon bedded by me. Adjustable Cheek Piece
Steiner Rings, Farrel 20MOA base
Fat Bastard brake

I'll likely have all parts in hand by late March but I'm thinking I want to Duracoat the action and barrel.  Has anyone matched the Vortex Razor color with Duracoat?  Alternatively, what would look good on the action and barrel if I don't try to match the scope?  Thoughts or suggestions?

I'm thinking parkerized action and beadblasted barrel. More of a satin finish.

I wasn't going to do it, but I'm headed down a rabbit hole trying to match the Razor's somewhat unique color I think.  I ordered a bunch of samples and have the scope in hand to match to.  I'm sure it will be some blend.  I'll post what I come up with and the results.  I should have the stock in hand later this week to compare to the scope color and make a final decision on.
