I was looking for RAL8K caps for a Mk5 3-18, couldn't find any in that color. |

It doesn't appear that Barrett sells it commercially, but from what I can tell it's made by Armageddon Gear just like the issued suppressor cover. I could be wrong, but from the looks of it, it's the Precision Rifle Sling by Armageddon Gear in Coyote Brown. |

I've never seen an DT turret S&B used on an XM3, but they were used at the same time, so it's a possible combination. SHORT Act has been added to the BBB along with the HPA. Call your Senators to support this gets passed! SHORT Act would remove SBS, SBR and AOW from the NFA. HPA would remove suppressors from the NFA. Only thing NFA would still require a TAX stamp for would be Full Auto and DDs. Clones getting closer! |

There's no way that actually goes through, right? I swear I've seen a few go through CMP for far less than that

I recently met a gentleman who won an auction for an XM3. We were bsing at the range and he mentioned he just won a DARPA XM3 in a cmp auction. I was shocked when he told me. Hoping he will bring it to one of our shoots. Edit: he brought the xm3 to a 600 shoot and I did get to shoot it. Definitely a worthy investment of a very cool piece of history. I definitely covet one now. |

I think they’re used for MK13 mod 5s? @USMCSGT0331 From the man above: These NF Nav-Spec 5.5-22x56 scopes that were recently sold have a mix of Q, R, S, and T serial number prefixes (I'm pretty certain that these are the serial number prefixes in this group of scope that just hit the market) Literally dozens of these scopes hit the market, and they've already been offered to all the major collectors and dealers for really great prices. These scopes used to sell as high as $6k to $7k, but now some prices are less than half of that (if you're higher up the pipeline, collectors downstream will obviously have to pay more as these scopes sell through more people). The market is now absolutely saturated with dozens of these scopes, so people should pay about $4k or so for them (if they're not upstream enough to get the best deals, building connections in this community is required to get the best parts at the best prices). Don't buy any of these scope if they're priced over $4,500, the market price is currently lower than that amount. The earlier NF scopes with N and M serial number prefixes from the early 2000's should cost more because they are correct for both the Mod 0 and Mod 5 rifles, but these early prefixes are mainly associated with the Mod 0's. The Q serial number prefix should be 2005, so those prefixes and later ones will be in the Mk13 Mod 5 date range (I can't remember off the top of my head when the Remington/MARS Mod 5's were first issued, probably around 2005 or 2006). So, a later serial number prefix scope would technically be incorrect for the earlier Mod 0 rifles, and all of these recently released scopes are technically correct for Mod 5 rifles and other sniper rifles (not the earlier Mod 0's). However, cloners can use any NF Nav-Spec scopes on any Mk13 Mod 0 or Mod 5 clone, regardless of the serial number prefix. Sometimes, it's too difficult to find the necessary NF scope with a specific serial number prefix that matches up with a certain year of rifle use. So, any of these scope serial number prefixes can be used on Mk13 Mod 0 and Mod 5 rifles, at least as a placeholder, until a scope with the correct corresponding serial number prefix can be acquired. |

MK13-5 generally will be roughly an R,S,T |
