Anyone have the scoop on them?  I'm looking at the BPR-17 and it looks to be a nice stick.  XLR chassis, takes AICS mags, and about $1600.

The BPR-17 is a steel at that price. Bergara rifles are truly top notch, it's all in the barrel. I've been quoted and about to pull the trigger on a BCR-19.

In on this. Where are you finding them for $1600?

Did you read the article in this months American Rifleman?

I found the 308 BPR-17 for about the same price you mention in stock as well.  That wouldn't be a bad deal at all.

Wondering if (assuming 6.5) it would be better than the RPR (which seem to be going for not much less $)?  If in .308 would it be comparable to the FN SPR?

If you are wanting a folder then the RPR is probably a better choice but given the prices that RPR's are selling for I would have a hard time buying one right now.

The Bergara seems to be more rifle for the money though to me.
