I think Remington 700P comes stock with an HS Precision...and I know HS makes good stock for the 700.
but unfortunately, the stock does not fit well with my hands...I would love to trim my stock down but I would
not want to mess around with it.

My question is...other than a wooden stock has anyone done any modifications with their stock like trimming
them down on the grip?

reducing the grip to better fit my hand...its a little too fat for my taste

the hs-precisions are constructed with a hard outer shell and the interior is a compressed foam? material. once the outer shell is sanded down it may weaken the palm area.

Have you tried handling an HS Precision stock from an LTR?  Personally I like the P stock, but the LTR stock has a slimmer profile in the forearm and grip area.

the ltr stock has also got a shorter forearm length, i dont know if the op would like a full size 26" barrel sticking out past an ltr stock lol
