JRKirby,

Do you have any build details you can share?  Looks like a Boyd's stock, but I don't recognize the action / barrel, etc.

Thanks!

It's a CZ 455 Varmint Precision Trainer.  It's actually a Manner's stock, the barrel is out getting rethreaded to silencerco specs.

I'm not sure. I think it's all factory except for the buttstock modification, but perhaps Buffington was contracted to make sights for them?

Based on a quick Bing Image search, it is not a Buffington, but is similar.

My Savage MK II suppressed. Not in the same league as some of the rifles here, but until I get my PWS Summit receiver/trigger assembly built, it will have to do.

It's actually the built in scope rail of the KIDD SUPA-grade receiver. There's a rail that runs down the center of the receiver. The picatinny section slides on the rail and is attached by 3 screws. I have the 10MOA rail, there's also 0 and 20MOA available.

It really groups well with Blazer, Federal 45gr Suppressor, CCI Standard. Optic is not helping any, hazy. Probably throw a Vortex on it.

Can't believe I missed this thread!  Oh well...  Better late than never!

Savage MkII BV:

I was a cheap Cabela's black Friday deal, and it shoots stupid good for what it is.  Someday it will go in a Boyd's Tacticool type stock.

Marlin 2000L.  I shot the blue version in the 90's as a teenager.  I picked this one up to shoot a local club league in 2000 or so:

H&R M12, Ken Vianni mount, BSA 6-24x44 scope...  It works fine on a rimfire:

With proper sights (Redfield Palma rear and International front):

The Winchester 52D out for some ammo testing:

Another older picture of it.  I now have a more adjustable butt plate and a better sling for it.  I'm going to use it for indoor smallbore this year.

Mossberg M44US:

Remington 513T:

I'm a bit of a sucker for old target rifles.

Allot of sweet rimfires have been posted!!!!

I prefer the older 22's also like what other people have posted, some walnut and old iron:

A mauser es340b (bottom), it went head to head in international competitions with the winchester 52's and the springfield M1922's in the 1930's. Top rifle is a nib/sill covered in cosmoline mas 45 training rifle.

" />

There's been allot of target rifles posted, I like to collect the "sporter" version of target rifle series.

A winchester 52b sporter with a sightron 6-24x42 dot reticle for glass.

" />

There was a remington 513t posted, this is the sporter version, a 513s wearing a bausch & lomb balvar 8b scope.

" />

A 1st year of production (1963) Anschutz 54 sporter.

" />

Still like to enjoy a day at the range with a mat/jacket/glove and my springfield m1922 that has a 1928 bbl on it.

" />

A couple of remington 541s sporters.

" />

There's been allot of cz's posted, here's another, it a cz lux bought new in 1982 (MN importer not kc) before the cz craze hit and they became popular. The lux has a lyman 20x scope on it.

" />

Another 10-22, I cut the bbl back 1/4" and re-cut the chamber with a full blown match chamber (ppc match reamer) with a 8-32x56 scope.

" />

I do have several bull bbl'd target 22's also, like a anschutz mark 10b (a couple of them already posted). Or a remington 540x or a remington 40x (usmc stamped) or a winchester 52d or a kimber 82 (cmp). Heck even got a anschutz 54, it's nib/still has the origional now dried oil on it. It was made in 1979/1600 series X-bbl. Migfht get around to shooting it some day.

" />

" />

Anyway there's allot of sweet 22's out there, old and new.

Got my bases fit onto my 1931 Win 52 last week..

Shot the Left with some old Lapua Club that I had from about 15 years ago,  the right with some recent R50.

With the barrel taper finding bases that were not way off was nearly impossible,  so I just machined down my own.   Now I can swap the Unertl back and forth between my Anschutz and this and still be within the spotter area.

CZ455 American Combo 22LR 17HMR

Just got the bbls back from www.jpgrips.com for threading. Both cut to 16" for suppressed shooting.
You do NOT lose significant velocity in 17HMR like you may think. READ------> http://www.bullberry.com/17_HMR_velocities.html
The CZ455 comes with 20.5" bbls and shot quite well at that length with an assortment I tried through each.
Pre-chop the 17HMR liked CCI 17gr Blacktip best. I will get to retesting them here next week probably.
Optic is Vortex 4-12 CFII Mildot. Suppressor I will be using is SWR Spectre II. This has a YO-DAVE trigger shim kit in it making for a perfect 2# trigger.
22LR bbl not pictured, looks identical to the below bbl.

Ruger/Shilen/Boyds/Volquartsen/Vortek 7722 22LR Bull

Had this one threaded also. Took about a pound off the pig heavy nose of the thing. 11.5lbs before chop, still a bench only rifle. I enjoy Rimfire Bench shooting so a perfect combo for me. It will see mostly Standard VEL stuff so the GemTech Outback II-D will get some use. It is usually on my Stainless 7722 boatpaddle stalker.

Nice setup with the old unertl.  I have a couple of them that I need to get something to put them on.  One is one of their last 20X scope sized like the one you have, new from the factory, and the other is a used larger tube 12X varmint type.

PWS T-3 Barreled action withe PWS Tension Barrel

KKC Stock

PA high rings

Vortex 2.5-10x32 FFP scope

(Not pictured - SiCo sparrow)

Need to get it bedded and out to the range.

Finally have the action cycling smoothly

Had a VictorUSA Titan stock on it before but this stock fits me much much better. The only drawback is the bedding is non existent.  Dryfiring (with yellow drywall anchors as snap caps) from the prone, sitting, off-hand, bench - this stock just fits me like a glove.

Hopefully the accuracy is as good as I hope.
