I finally got a nightforce!
Stopped into the local gun shop for some primers and found they were having a clearance sale, and most of their scopes were 50% off.
Including all the Nightforce Been wanting one for my REPR forever but could never bring myself to drop $2k on glass.
Got some nightforce titanium rings there too (also50% off)
Got a 3.5-15x50 MOAR with zero stop
It's sitting higher then I had it before. With the Nikon I had on it it was barely off the handrail, but with the cheek adjustment all the way down I had to be snuggled in pretty tight to the stock to line up the scope.
Where it is now is quite a bit higher, but it lets me actually use my cheek weld adjustment so it is a bit more natural for a shooting position.
So, should I trade for lower rings and cut down on hight over bore?
Or leave it a bit higher for a more comfortable shooting position?
Where the Nikon Sat
The Nightforce right now
Not too bad

Leave it where it's comfortable. More important than a little less height.

I run a NF NXS on my REPR with NF 1.375" rings on the upper receiver. I have Magpul's MOE A2 stock, and the cheekweld is comfortable.
