I saw a thread awhile back, pretty sure it was on here somewhere but I can't seem to find it. Someone posted they had modified their Sporter to be able to use with a suppressor. It had some other tricks in it for usage and was just curious if anyone remembers it or not.

I've used the Sporter with a silencer (308 and 6.5) with no issues and no mods. I just have to use the thinnest pad in the kit, change the sensitivity to Hi 2 and make sure the sensor part of the bayonet is far enough away from the end of the silencer (1" or so IIRC). My silencer is 1.5" in diameter.

They work great. So much faster and easier to deal with than the older style chrony's.
