After reading the reviews on 6.5 muzzle brakes on Precision Rifle Blog, I ordered a JECustom brake. He charged my CC and I find out that its "backordered"??? So I call and cancel the backorder and go elsewhere for my brake.
First off, this is the first vendor that I've experienced who charged my CC before shipping the item. Second, I've been calling and leaving emails asking him to reverse the charge to my CC....for the last MONTH!!! Still nothing, and the emails keep getting kicked back as "permanent failures".... I've tried the website "contact" email form and the email direct both. No responses save the once I managed to actually talk to a human (couple of weeks ago) when he said "I'll get that take care of". My last call I asked (via voicemail) him to just send me a check for the amount....still no response. I hate to dis a manufacturer, but I will NEVER do business with JEC again. YMMV, but approach with caution! |

Yup. Evidently the dude just turned into a flake overnight. Its all in that thread on the hide. I have one of his brakes that came on a rifle I bought and its awesome but the APA Little Bastard II works just as well. I buy mine from OTM Tactical. Good prices and fast shipping. |
