can i use one for 3 gun? what are the rules on calibers?

At this time, there are no widely accepted and standardized rules for 3-gun but usually, the minimum caliber for pistols is .35".

It won't do you any favors on heavier steel, like the bigger pepper poppers.


Only advantage would be capacity, and with the extended base pads available for 9mm, it is a much better option for 3-gun.

I'd rather have a 9mm than a 5.7 for 3-gun even if the ammo was exactly the same price.
